On 4 October 2021, LC Packaging International has been rewarded with the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year in a row. With a total score of 79/100 we belong to the top 1% highest rated companies of all 75,000 companies assessed and top 1% in our industry. In our assessment we included all our operations, including affiliates (sales offices and warehouses), our WorldBag reconditioning service and our FIBC manufacturing sites in Bangladesh (Dutch-Bangla Pack Ltd.) and South Africa (LC Shankar). The acknowledgement by EcoVadis proves our ongoing commitment to sustainability and CSR.

Especially our labour practices and human rights efforts (90/100) and sustainable procurement activities (80/100) are acknowledged and turn out to be exceptional in our industry (the black line indicates the average score of all companies assessed within our industry).
Needless to say, LC Packaging is extremely proud of this achievement, but what does this achievement mean for our customers?
With a 79/100 score compared to an average industry score of 45/100, our customers can be assured of doing business with an industry leader in sustainability and CSR, helping them to in several ways.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s largest providers of business sustainability ratings. Over 75,000 companies, spread over 160 countries and 200 industries are already assessed based on 21 sustainability criteria divided into four main topics: Environment, Labour Practices and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
The assessment is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability and CSR into their businesses and management system and is based on international sustainability standards, such as Global Reporting Initiative, UN Global Compact and ISO 26000.
