Sustainability Update 2022 (GRI Compliant) now available online!

LC Packaging’s 2022 Sustainability Vision expired on 31 December 2021. In this fifth issue of LC Packaging’s digital annual Sustainability Update, efforts, initiatives, and developments deployed by LC Packaging and its partners to improve the well-being of people, create supply chain sustainability, develop sustainable packaging solutions, and minimise the impact on the environment are shared. The Sustainability Update 2022 specially describes the progress made over the past five years, the goals achieved and the goals that have proved too great a challenge.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards
For the third time, extensive reporting in has been integrated in the Sustainability Update, complying with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI): Core Option. GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards are the first and most widely adopted global standards for sustainability reporting. Reporting following these standards helps LC Packaging to understand and communicate our impact on critical sustainability issues.
LC Packaging’s GRI Report is presented in the form of the LC Packaging GRI Index 2021, summarising all disclosures and linking to all relevant documentation and publications.
2030 Ambition
In May 2022 LC Packaging launched its brand new 2030 Ambition to continue and intensify its efforts to leave a better world for future generations to enjoy. Already rewarded with an EcoVadis Platinum CSR rating for the second consecutive year in a row, the industry leader in sustainability is pushing its limits by committing to fighting working poverty in its supply chain, acting on climate change, and delivering the circular economy.
