Reducing the corporate footprint
The sustainably built new office and warehouse offers more space, state-of-the art facilities and a more central location. This move is a great way forward to continue supplying LC Packaging customers with high quality packaging for their valuable products.
Over the past few years, the company’s corporate family has grown significantly. A completely new building seemed to be the best solution to create more storage space for its packaging solutions, expand and modernise its printing facilities, optimise logistics and work as environmentally neutral as possible.
BREEAM Outstanding certified
The company has chosen that its new head office and warehouse must meet all the requirements of BREEAM Outstanding. This is the ultimate sustainability label for buildings with minimal environmental impact. Innovative measures have been taken to minimise CO2 emissions and the consumption of energy and water. Sustainable materials were used for the construction and interior of the building, such as recycled bricks and also the ceiling panels are made of recycled materials. Rainwater is collected and used by nearby horticultural businesses so no water is wasted unnecessarily. With optimal air ventilation, LC Packaging’s employees are able to work safely together in an office that is ready for the future!
29,000 pallet spots available
LC Packaging’s warehouse has space for the storage of 29,000 pallets, divided into 5 separate compartments. A new printing hall has been set up for printing jute and polypropylene bags. Additionally, a separate FIBC cleanroom has been realized for conducting quality controls that meet the highest hygiene standards.
At this new location, LC Packaging can continue to grow, while monitoring the quality it has been striving for and attaining every day since 1923; in its packaging and in the way the company’s employees work and collaborate with each other and LC Packaging long-term partners.
