About the Role:

We're looking for a commercially driven Senior Account Manager to lead the growth of our agricultural packaging business, with a particular focus on developing new opportunities within a variety of sectors, including Seeds and Animal feeds. Alongside managing a small portfolio of existing agricultural customers, you'll play a key role in expanding our presence within these specialist markets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities and building long-term customer partnerships.

Our customers include growers, seed processors, animal feed manufacturers, packers and agricultural businesses across the UK. This isn't about selling bags. It's about understanding each customer's business, their production processes, operational challenges and commercial goals, then providing packaging solutions that genuinely add value.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Taking ownership of developing new business within the different sectors.
  • Managing and growing a small portfolio of existing agricultural accounts.
  • Identifying opportunities within both existing customers and new prospects.
  • Building long-term relationships based on trust, reliability and commercial value.
  • Visiting customers throughout the UK (this is not a regional role and will require staying out overnight regularly) to understand their operations first-hand.
  • Developing relationships across every level of the business—from owners and Managing Directors through to production, warehouse and packing teams.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and our international teams, including regular interaction with our headquarters in the Netherlands.
  • Occasionally travelling overseas for customer visits, supplier meetings and group collaboration.
  • Becoming recognised as a trusted adviser who understands the agricultural industry and delivers practical, solution-led packaging recommendations.

About You:

  • You'll probably feel just as comfortable walking around a seed processing plant or feed mill as you do sitting in a meeting with a business owner.
  • Whether you're wearing boots in a yard or a suit in a boardroom, you adapt naturally to your customer and enjoy building genuine relationships.
  • You understand that agriculture isn't always predictable. Good seasons, poor harvests, changing commodity prices and market pressures all influence how customers operate, and you appreciate the importance of being a dependable long-term partner.
  • Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys winning new business. You thrive on identifying opportunities, opening conversations and developing relationships that grow into long-standing customer partnerships.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven B2B sales or account management experience.
  • A strong track record of developing new business alongside managing existing accounts.
  • A consultative, solution-led approach to selling.
  • An interest in agriculture, seed, animal feed, fresh produce or food production.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • University-level education.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience within agricultural packaging isn't essential. We're far more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, commercial drive and passion for agriculture. We'll provide the product knowledge and support you need to succeed.
