We aim to provide packaging solutions while minimising the impact on the environment and waste of valuable packaging. We also continue enriching communities in which we directly or indirectly operate. To do so, we have set up several programmes with which we hope to leave a better world for future generations to enjoy.
M.B. Nieuwenhuijse and LC Packaging introduce plastic neutral net bags
To help turn the tide on ocean plastic and to secure a sustainable future for generations to come, LC Packaging and M.B. Nieuwenhuijse B.V. have partnered with Plastic Bank. Based on this partnership, we will prevent 50,000 kgs of plastic from entering the ocean over the next year, while improving lives in collaboration with Plastic Bank. Collectors receive bonuses for the materials they collect which helps them provide basic family necessities such as groceries, cooking fuel, school tuition, and health insurance.
DBPL's commitment to their people
Dutch-Bangla Pack Ltd. (DBPL) is LC Packaging’s FIBC production facility and the leading producer of FIBCs in Bangladesh. At DBPL, we choose to invest in our people. People are our most valuable asset and the fact is: the well-being of colleagues is directly linked to the quality of the products. DBPL takes care of its people through their Employee Commitment Programme which entails several initiatives such as regular health checks, free day care for children and a fair priced shop on its premises. DBPL holds the SA8000 certificate since 2012 and is one of only a few companies in Bangladesh with such a certificate.

WorldBag
WorldBag specialises in reconditioning and recycling big bags: collecting, cleaning and repairing them, ready for re-use! The bags are then delivered back to you, our customer, in pristine condition. Learn more about WorldBag on their website.
GreenBANGLA
GreenBANGLA is a first-of-its kind waste recycling project. We collect our production waste from our FIBC production line to recycle and process into value-added products: PP granulates. These are then used for the production of polypropylene bags for example.
